Rocky Mountain USO Freedom Dinner
October 10, 2013

Richie Law entertained VIP guests before the annual USO Freedom Dinner and performed the National Anthem for a second year. The lead singer from Diamonds, David Somerville, entertained sponsors and guests with top hits from the late 50s-60s. We helped him celebrate his 80th birthday!  What an amazing performer to still be entertaining The Troops after all these years. Honored and humbled to be among America's finest.

Christmas Dinner with the Troops
USO Fort Carson
December 15, 2012

Being surrounded by the Troops and their families at USO Fort Carson was a heartwarming experience. Words cannot express the joy of seeing our service men and women reunited with family in time for Christmas. Santa made a special stop delivering toys to all the children! Texas Roadhouse provided dinner for over 400 active military and family which volunteers served with pumpkin pie and a smile. Door prizes were a big hit with lucky winners big and small as Daughtry t-shirts, Challenger Homes hats, coffee mugs w/Brave coffee, and family DVDs were given away. It was a special day to celebrate those present and to remember those far away. God Bless and Merry Christmas to all the Troops!

Thanksgiving Dinner with the Troops
USO Fort Carson
November 18, 2012

Kicking off the holiday season withe the Troops and their families at Fort Carson was a special treat.  My family and I had the pleasure of entertaining the troops while they enjoyed a Thanksgiving feast compliments of Texas Roadhouse. Door prizes were also given away to lucky winners! Miss Colorado (Hannah Porter) made a special appearance, as did "Dr. Mal Practice." It was great to observe the community support for the Troops, and I felt truly blessed to be included in the holiday celebration.

Season 2 American Country Star World Finals
Nashville, TN
October 28, 2012

It was AWESOME to share the stage with Lorrie Davis Bennett, daughter of June Carter's sister Anita, as we performed the tribute song 'Jackson' live at American Country Star World Finals in Nashville.  A special "Thank You" to Woody for inviting me to perform and judge at this event!

Being at the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night was a special moment as Vince Gill, Alison Krauss, and Charlie Daniels performed a few of their greatest hits to a packed house.  Before the show I was at the legendary Tootsie's. I even had fans recognize me from American Idol.  How cool was that!  Nashville...you felt like home.  I can't wait to come back!

  Rocky Mountain USO Freedom Dinner
October 13, 2012

What an Honor to be at The Freedom Dinner. Awesome night with the USO, my family and my manager's family. It was one of the few times we all got to be together. The bagpipes playing Amazing Grace in honor of those that gave all spoke to my soul. Being able to be even a small part of this organization seems like the best use ever of my talent. Humbled to the core.

USO Fort Carson
October 2, 2012

Awesome day. They "coined" us. Ft. Carson soldiers were amazing today. It's hard to read but it says Rocky Mountain under it. It's the size of a dog tag but heavier. Very cool.

Texaco Country Showdown - Copper Mountain
September 1, 2012

Thank you to everyone who came out to support me in Copper Mountain for the Texaco Country Showdown. Winning this competition was awesome. Anybody who wants to make the trek to Raton, NM on October 20 when I represent Colorado for the regional is welcome to come.

Hey Y'all. I have a special request. A young man named Weston Cowden. He is one of the most devout Christians and most multi-talented likable guys I have ever met. I consider him to be one of my best high school friends.... His Father was a victim of the July 20 Theatre 9 massacre... It would mean the world to me if you would keep Weston, his family, and the families of all the other victims of this tragedy in your thoughts and prayers.

It's a dang good night when 4 time CMA nominee Wynn Varble comes to your show. Wynn wrote A Little More Country Than That, Waitin' On A Woman, Sounds Like Life, Cheater Cheater, Things that Never Cross a Man's Mind, etc. He's an awesome family friend.

August 2011

Richie with Miss Colorado at the SaddleUp! Foundation's Fundraiser!!!

I am a Grandview High School Graduate!!!! Check out the video of singing at graduation. My mom is hilarious and the clapping at the end with her cell phone in her hand is priceless! I like this one better than the professional video. I want to learn to sign it language to the song.

I met Joe Nichols last week. He just introduced himself and said, "Hi, I'm Joe." "Hi, Joe, I'm Richie", I said all cocky. Then I realized who he was and like an ars said, "Uh, Joe...uh....you're Joe Nichols." He was with his wife and he asked about all the stuff going on with ME. I told him this year's been crazy. How awesome!

December 2010

DECEMBER 14: Above is Richie at KYGO. He did a commercial for Country Strong that will be on their web on December 15 at www.kygo.com. He's holding their 2 CMAs for Country Music Major Market Station of the Year. At least he got to feel what it is like to win a CMA.

Also on December 10, 2010: Richie was a guest on The Conman Radio Show in front of 3 million listeners!!!!! Chris Conn is amazing and we had a blast.

December 15th: Richie will be on Channel 2's Everyday Colorado Show at 10AM.

December 17, 2010: Richie will filming the Tom Martino Show. We will let you know when the show will air. We just aren't sure of the date yet.

In November, 2010, Richie was also crowned the 2010-2011 Grand Champion of American Country Star.

He was awarded Roper clothing; a guitar signed by Clay Walker; a spot on a national radio show with the ConMan, Chris Conn; a spot on a Denver TV show; huge media coverage; and a three tiered 5 foot trophy.

In November, 2010, Richie was notified that he made CO AllState Jazz Choir. This is an elite choir. There were only 4 basses chosen from the state for this honor choir. He will also be performing with the CO Allstate Choir, Sound of the Rockies, his high school jazz choir and his high school mixed choir this month.

Richie also sang the national anthem at the High School football game. Ah....now that'll be a great memory.

A special thanks goes out to Wynn Varble from Richie Law and family for promoting Richie in Nashville and taking the time to help a kid out.
